Specialist CAD/CAM design and rapid prototyping

While CAD/CAM Design & Rapid Prototyping is effectively a standalone service, the vast majority of our customers proceed to production with us. That said, we are happy to give any customer the full benefit of our extensive experience in developing cost-effective solutions to engineering problems.

From Concept to CAD/CAM Design

We welcome the challenge of discussing and crystallising concepts from initial sketches or samples, happily lending our experience to the process of developing the concept. We then use specialist CAD/CAM design software to translate the final concept into a 3D design, ready for prototyping.

Rapid Prototyping

Prototypes can then be machined using a variety of materials - ferrous, non-ferrous, stainless steel, aluminium, composites or plastics - or implemented via rapid prototype moulding using PU and RIM. With full 5 axis programming and 3D surface machining, machined prototypes are also rapidly developed and tested, ready for manufacture.

Once the prototype has been finalised, most customers ask us to manufacture the item for them. So our customers benefit from quick and cost-effective development from concept to production, all under the same roof.
