CNC machining offers customers the benefit of cost-effectively producing complex precision engineered components as one-offs or in larger production batches. With manufacturing tolerances of just a few microns, CNC machining produces high precision components to a consistently excellent standard, from one production batch to the next.Production Facilities
APL's precision engineering facilities include: CNC turning, CNC milling, centre lathe, drilling & assembly, surface and cylindrical grinding and autowork.Backing up these production facilities is a vast amount of hands-on experience. This can often be used to help customers improve their precision engineered components by optimising them for weight, ease of production and cost.
Batches and Assemblies
CNC machining can be used to cost-effectively produce surprisingly large batches of high precision components and it can often work out cheaper than either casting or moulding a component - we're happy to advise on comparative costs.What's more, we are often able to further assist customers by building the high precision components we manufacture into small or medium-sized assemblies before delivery.
