Alsager Precision offers customers a complete sheet metal production facility including laser cutting, punching, folding, guillotining and MIG & TIG welding. Working mostly with the motor, food, medical and construction industries, we have built a reputation as specialists in prototype sheet metal and pipe development work.Range of Materials
We are experienced in producing sheet metal enclosures and structures in a range of materials, depending on the requirements of each particular job. The three main metals which we work with are as follows:- Mild Steel is the most versatile material for sheet metal work, offering a range of finishes including powder-coating, epoxy paint and plating.
- Aluminium yields a lighter weight and increased corrosion resistance, but offers less strength than mild steel.
- Stainless & Galvanised Steel allow the use of a thinner metal sheet than aluminium while still giving good corrosion resistance.
